This page explains what data sofidrinkini.com collects, why, and how you can manage it. Last updated: 4 October 2026.
Who handles the data
The data controller is Sofia Lorini (Sofidrinkini). For any question about your data, write to s.lorini@sofidrinkini.com.
New recipe alerts
If you sign up for alerts we collect your email, your name (if you enter it), the site language, the date you signed up and confirmed, and your IP address in anonymised form, as proof of consent. We email you when a new recipe is published. The legal basis is your consent, which you confirm with the link in the first email. You can withdraw it at any time with the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of every email or from your account.
Account and favourite recipes
If you create an account we store your name, email, password (encrypted, nobody can read it), language and the list of recipes you save as favourites, so you find them on all your devices. The legal basis is providing the service you asked for. Without an account, favourites stay only in your browser and never reach us.
Emails you send us
If you write to us, including through the form on the Work with me page (for example about a collaboration), we use your address, the details you enter and what you tell us only to reply and, if needed, to organise the collaboration.
Media kit access for brands
The full Work with me page (numbers, prices, terms and the PDF media kit) is reserved for companies. To see it we ask for your first and last name, role, company name, VAT number and work email. We use these details to give you access, email you your personal link to come back to the page, know how often you visit it and whether you download the media kit, and to contact you about a possible collaboration. We do not sign you up to any newsletter. The legal basis is the pre-contractual steps you ask us to take and our legitimate interest in managing business contacts. A technical cookie (sofi_brand_access) remembers that you already have access. The data is kept for at most 24 months after your last visit and then deleted.
Cookies and statistics
The site uses technical cookies that it needs to work. Only if you give consent in the banner does it also use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) to count visits and see which recipes people like most. Google may process data such as your IP address, device type and pages viewed. You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of the page. All the details are in the cookie notice.
Affiliate links
Some Amazon links are affiliate links: if you buy something after clicking, I earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We do not receive your purchase data: Amazon only reports the total commissions.
Who helps us process data
- Hostinger International Ltd. (Cyprus, EU): hosts the site, subscriber and account data, and the domain’s email inbox.
- Google Ireland Limited: site statistics, only with your consent. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States, which is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
We do not sell or share data with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Alert data is kept while you are subscribed, account data while you keep your account. If you unsubscribe, your address stays marked as unsubscribed so we never write to you again: you can ask us to delete it completely. Google Analytics statistics are kept for up to 14 months.
Minimum age
Alerts and accounts are meant for people aged 14 or over.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, or receive a copy, by writing to s.lorini@sofidrinkini.com. You can also delete your account yourself from the “My account” page. If you think your data is handled improperly, you can complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or to the authority in your country.
