Mini matcha and banana cake 🍌🍵

A soft, fragrant mini cake made with matcha and banana. Just blend all the ingredients together and bake.

Make the batter

Put the egg, oil, sugar, flour, matcha powder, baking powder, salt and half banana in the blender. Blend everything together until smooth.

Blend only until there are no lumps left.

Pour into the mould

Pour the batter into a mini cake mould that you have buttered or lined with baking paper.

Do not fill the mould to the brim, because the cake rises as it bakes.

Bake the mini cake

Bake in an oven preheated to 180 °C for about 30 minutes. Before taking it out, check it by inserting a skewer into the centre.

If the skewer comes out dry, the mini cake is ready.

01Use a very ripe banana for a softer, naturally sweeter cake.

02Sift the matcha together with the flour so it spreads evenly with no lumps.

03Let the mini cake cool slightly before taking it out of the mould.
